Good Morning... !
MoveOn.org and the Win Without War coalition, together with Archbishop Desmond Tutu and many faith-based organizations, are calling this vigil, and we need your help. Beginning in New Zealand, this will be a rolling wave of candlelight gatherings that will quickly cross the globe.
Join with millions of others around the globe and in your community. Join or schedule a candlelight vigil for peace in your city here: www.GlobalVigil.com There are a few scheduled in my area and I'll be out there at 7:00 with my daughter. It's not too late to sign up; you'll just be told specifically what to expect and where to meet.
Chinese Censoring The Rolling Stones
The Rolling Stones will be playing two historical concerts in China, but four of their most famous songs will be missing. The Chinese government has deemed them inappropriate. The band were told they cannot play Brown Sugar, Honky Tonk Woman, Beast of Burden and Let's Spend the Night Together, said Chen Jixin, head of Beijing Time New Century Entertainment. The Stones are due to play two concerts in the country, in Shanghai on 1 April and in Beijing on 4 April. Chen said she did not know why the government had banned the four songs. The same four were cut from the Chinese release of the band's last compilation album, 40 Licks, by the China culture ministry.
ACC Basketball Tournament today at 1:00 for all the marbles. Between Duke and NC State.
Sky's squirting the pets with a water bottle and they're all scrambling to hide behind me at once. My husband and I are hoping she'll meet a nice punk rocker/skateboarder who makes all A's someday.
Quote For Today
If you were going to die soon and had only one phone call you could make, who would you call and what would you say? And why are you waiting? ~Unknown
