Lawmakers Seek to Outlaw Evil Dildos

Apparently, lawmakers in this impoverished red state can't find enough serious problems to address, so they've turned their minds to sex, specifically sex toys.

For unknown reasons, State Senator Charlotte Burks (DINO) and State Rep. Eric Swafford (R) have been thinking a lot about the activities going on your bedroom. They have come to the conclusion that Tennessee will be a better place to live if the state regulates your bedroom by outlawing dildos.

The 12 Days Of Kitschmas - for the best in bad taste religious gifts. Which reminds me of a decorated yard I saw on local tv one year with an extravagant nativity scene. And above the manger display, in all his Las Vegas glory, was one lifesize Elvis Presley, keeping watch over the manger. The natives got very restless over that unique display and the homeowner was asked to take down the Hunka Hunka Burning Love. It was indeed one Blue Christmas without Elvis.

Texas Court Acts to Clear 38, Almost All Black, in Drug Case in Tulia, Texas. Tom Coleman was the lone police officer who's sole word sent 38 mostly black citizens to jail for a series of drug arrests that tore this town apart. Most have been jailed the past 3 or 4 years. Conceding that they had made a catastrophic mistake in relying solely on the uncorroborated testimony of an undercover officer, Texas is in the process of overturning those convictions. Swisher County is to pay $250,000 for immunity. They probably better dig a little deeper. Mr Coleman, I give to you my "Dickhead Award" for being one. Now, how are we going to let YOU make amends?



Belgium To Legalize Cannabis

The move, which has been the subject of fierce debate in Belgium for the last two years, will allow users to smoke small quantities of the drug in private, provided they do not disturb public order. I never could understand why they can't let you keep one measly little ounce of weed for personal use. Sheesh.

Damnit. My blogroll is bursting at the fucking seams. And speaking of all this blog paraphernalia, how am I supposed to just write and read (i.e.,blog)? How independent am I if I'm subscribing to all the latest games and toys the Blog world is throwing at me? I'm rethinking this whole extraneous blogging aid deal.

Hope it was a special day for you.



I'm not usually a procrastinator. Except each year at tax time. I've always done my own taxes and this will be my fourth year of filing online. It's much more convenient and inexpensive. Last year was the first time I had to apply for an extention simply because I really dread getting started and kept putting it off. But I really should get started on it soon.



In honor of Mr Natural's posted pic today, here's an R Crumb site with him, Fritz the Cat and the rest of the crew. We used to buy these comics when they came out and laugh like hell for days. I bet these are very collectible now.

Very rarely is a legendary band able to come up with new, credible material. Martha Stewart's Talking


Martha Stewart, the one woman Miss Manners calls a "repressed control addict with a sphincter that could snap broomsticks," is reportedly thinking of taking up a new career as a stool pigeon. In order to get out of the deep sorbet she's gotten herself into, a source says she's going to give the FBI important information in exchange for immunity from prosecution.



It seems like this trouble she's having won't be quick to fade and gets more serious by the day.
