Quitting Smoking, Year 1

On 08/08/08 I quit smoking.
At midnight I will have completed my first year of not smoking after 40 long years.
How did I do it? By using the controversial pill, CHANTIX.

Congratulations!! I've never smoked, but I know how hard it must have been. My father smoked his whole life...lungs collapsed twice, he had to have his chest cracked both times. The scars were incredible. And...he still couldn't quit. My husband smoked too and stopped almost a year ago. Bravo, chica!! I'm incredibly proud of you.
