Eight war protesters were arrested at Senator John Edwards' Office in Raleigh, NC, yesterday after they refused to leave. The protesters — including a professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill — were marched out of the office building in handcuffs while supporters applauded and shouted anti-war slogans. Edwards was not in his office yesterday. His spokesman had no immediate comment. [site requires registration]
