Personal Observation
Know how to tell that you're getting old? When you drop something and bend down and retrieve it, you look around to see if there's anything else to pick up while you're down there.
Flashback
King Crimson's new national tour kicks off tomorrow night, Feb 28, here in Asheville, NC, at the Orange Peel. They've been on-again, off-again for the past 35 years, with lineup changes as well. To me, In the Court of the Crimson King was one of the top albums that went best with psychedelics. Robert Fripp, founder, has always been active in the group, and including Bill Bruford in several different lineups (he quit Yes to join the first time), the band also launched the careers of bass player/vocalists Greg Lake (later of ELP) and John Wetton (later of the band U.K. and front man for '80s pop phenom Asia), while multi-instrumentalist founding member Ian McDonald went on to form FM-radio stalwarts Foreigner. I only know the early period of them when 'In the Court of the Crimson King' was rocking my old VW van.
You know how a group of folks will pose nekkid in the shape of a peace sign, or spell out "p-e-a-c-e"? [You may have already seen this.] This site has a collection of those photos. [via: metafilter]

Virtual March Info
Skippy told me if you were unable to reach your Senators and/or Whitehouse Wednesday for the Virtual March, you can also try placing your call on Thursday. It seems many folks got a busy signal. Common Dreams had an article about the congressional phones being jammed. {I couldn't reach anyone, at all}
Quote For Today
I have faith in my God similar to how I have faith in the sun. Not because I can see it, but because I can not see without it.

My thoughts are so terrible, they make Jesus want to drink gin straight out of the cat dish.
