With 75,000 marchers in D.C., up to 50,000 in San Francisco and thousands more across the country, this weekend's anti-war rallies surprised organizers and authorities alike.
If I was 30 years younger, I would have probably been there. Protesting and standing for a cause were important to me when I was younger and much more passionate. I really felt like my generation could do some good--change the world. I suppose we did, but there's much work left to be done. We began the fight for Women's Lib, as it was first called. But do women get treated equally in the work place? Did we pass the mantle down to our children; this generation? I certainly hope so.
