Broken Hallelujah

Good Morning.



"They're all bad, but Fox is the absolute worst," said Tracy Blevins, 32, a New York City resident. "The people who report the news aren't journalists. They just say what the government tells them to say." When protesters were near the Fox News Building, Fox changed their outside news ticker to chide the protestors: "War protester auditions here today ... thanks for coming!" read one message. "Who won your right to show up here today?" another questioned. "Protesters or soldiers?" Said a third: "How do you keep a war protester in suspense? Ignore them."



Still another read: "Attention protesters: the Michael Moore Fan Club meets Thursday at a phone booth at Sixth Avenue and 50th Street" - a reference to the film maker who denounced the war while accepting an Oscar on Sunday night for his documentary "Bowling for Columbine."



The protesters said Fox's sentiments only proved their point: that media coverage, in particular among the television networks, is so biased as to be unbelievable. Fox New is the worst of the networks for their biased reporting and attitudes. They certainly don't have to agree with the protesters, but news is far more respected without an agenda.

After reading a blog this morning and seeing all the many different interpretations of one particular statement someone made, I am reminded of a simple truth I once learned, which is this:



A mother asks each of her three children to bring her some milk. The first child brings her a glass of milk. The second child brings her a whole jug of milk. And the third child brings her a cow. All three children heard the same request from their Mother and all three interpreted it in their own way.
